Creative piece of military Sci-Fi. Examines the lengths to which society will test its best & brightest to ensure its ultimate survival.
I got this book for my birthday while I was a junior in High School. One of the better books I've ever read. It's an excellent story about a kid named Ender who gets drafted into a military program for gifted children. The program is designed to identify children who may someday be useful in the war against the alien threat humanity is facing called "The Buggers". It has a twist ending too, really great book.
