I LOVED this book. I loved the brilliant kids who played the game and Ender as a character. I will say, the ending got me good.

Can't remember when I actually read this first, so I'll guess around 1995. This is a fairly simple yet well done and enjoyable novel, easily a class, in my opinion. It doesn't try to be overly literary, and comes off as a well done, unpretentious and solid sci-fi effort. Also interesting as a take on military sci-fi, though far different from the nuts, bolts and big guns of many current military s-f writers now.
