In general, there is much to complain about in the Harry Potter saga, but the beauty of the story (and a testament to Rowling's skills as a writer) is that I come up with all the complaints afterwards. While reading the book, I find myself almost unable to pull away and pick it apart.
I enjoyed the experience of reading this book and felt that, even though it did not need to be quite as long as it was, it was a good end to the series that swept the world by storm.

This book is even better the second time through! Holy Hell! Jim Dale is an amazing reader! I am so glad I started it!

So I forgot that I had listened to it on audio book! I just reread it for the second time through (no audiobook this time). I loved it even MORE this time than before! I cannot wait until the second movie comes out in July!

I was very sad to see the series end, and although I found myself enjoying some of the other titles a bit more, the one that wrapped it all up was still a fantastic read.
It's particularly meaningful to me because Ms. Rowling became my best (and really only) celebrity encounter when she was kind enough to sign my edition at Carnegie Hall in New York on October 19, 2007. ...more

Simply AMAZING the final chapter of Harry Potter this book has nailed the perfected ending...
Excellent ending to a perfect series of books... I love this series and will always go back to reread the adv enters of Harry Potter...
The worst part of this book is the epilogue it feel vague and tacky... avoid it...
Give the books a try you will not be sorry...

Well, you know, what can you say? If you've been along for the ride throughout all 7 books, it could have been straight poop for 500 pages, but it wouldn't have slowed me down getting to the end of the book, and an ending as thorough and as--well, that's all I'll say--how can you not walk away feeling satisfied? I closed the book and smoked a cigarette.

A rousing conclusion to a great series. My only quibble is that I wish the books were not always tethered to Harry's POV. I would have liked to have seen what was going on elsewhere, not be told about it with Harry.
