What Members Thought
3.5 stars. Good start to what ended up being an exceptional science fiction/fantasy series. Very well written and highly original. As good as I thought this first book was, I thought the next two books were even better as the scope of ths story seemed to expand exponentially. When I finished the series, I was amazed at how far and how BIG the story had become. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I read this when it first came out, LOVED IT, then I waited for the next book. I loved that one too...then I waited for the third book...and waited...and waited...
...and when the third book finally came out I HATED IT! I was so disappointed in it that I cried. No, really. I closed the book and cried - not for the conclusion but for the immense disappointment I felt for having read the whole series and disliking the ending to intensely.
