I really enjoyed this beginning of a series. I'm excited to read more of these fractured fairytales.

I thought this was a rather clever book. The plot is hard for me to describe. It was rather clever book about twisting The Tradition that tries to mold people's lives in tales. I liked how Mercedes Lackey was a bit more down-to-earth about sexual matters. It's a bit frosted over in her Valdemar books, though I also like that series how homosexuality is widely accepted. :) I like this series so far.
