5.0 to 5.5 stars. A fantastic debut novel by a great new voice in Science Fiction. The world-building is superb and the concept of "re-sleaving" and the myriad ways in which society changes when death no longer is permament are exceptionally handled. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

I enjoyed reading this after watching the Netflix series, some of the plot lines I think are just inherently better in written format, but there are some nice additions to the show that I think added to the overall world building idea and a little bit of fun to our otherwise sardonic and angry hero.
