What Members Thought
It took me a moment to get into this book, but within the first 50 pages I was really sold. I love the history in this, the glimpse into women's issues and the quite progressive views of some of the characters of the novel. A friend made an interesting suggestion (unknowingly), to read this book and Pride and Prejudice together. It was interesting to see the same women's issues over 100 years apart.
