I truely LOVED this book! I admit it is my first witch story but it has hooked me in. The way that J.D. Straube writes is beautiful and compelling. This book is very addicting and I'm so excited to get sucked into the next one. This was an intoxicating read that people will fall in love with.

I really liked this book from the very start. It's an easy read with some new ideas that makes it stand out from what's out on the shelves today. It has witches, ghosts, demons & much more. After escaping the cage she was kept in by her evil parents, Savannah is taken in by a wonderfully kind witch in the very same coven her parents had been evicted from for practicing dark magic. I gave it three stars because the amount of information in this book is phenomenal...it just seems to all be thrown at you without giving you time to sink into it. There were typos, indention issues (for Kindle), and the ending was a little out there for me. I really wanted to love this book, but for some reason it just wasn't my "cup of tea". The ideas surrounding the book were great, the variety of things happening and changes in plot were great...it just seemed a bit rushed to me.
