While there is a getting together of two people, this is not standard romance novel. I've read it twice now (finished my second read in July, 2011). My husband bought it after starting my library copy. Fresh plot, witty writing, optimistic ending with no one dying. There's also enough of a bite without bitterness that you can laugh without feeling guilty.
