~~Maybe I should just put this book down. Read something else.~~ No. It might get better. People on Goodreads say it is good.

But whenever I tried to read it, my thoughts drifted off like butterflies, flying through the warm air of a midsummer evening, beating their wings, while they spiraled higher and higher, out of my reach, until I could no longer touch them and ... I had no idea what I'd just read.

Ich wusste ehrlich gesagt gar nicht so genau was mich bei diesem Buch erwarten wird. Ich wusste, dass es eine Dystopie ist und der Schreibstil anders ist.

Der Schreibstil war wirklich sehr gewöhnungsbedürftig. Den Sinn der durchgestrichenen Wörter und Sätze habe ich auch am Ende nicht verstanden. Viel nerviger fand ich allerdings die mehrfachen Wiederholungen. Ich habe es auch nach einer Erwähnung verstanden. Zum Glück ließ dieser Stil zum Ende etwas nach. Now here I’ve again a book which splits the opinions. One group find it fantastically, the others can only shake their heads and don’t understand the hype for the book. I’ve started the book without any expectation and have already counted on the worst, after some bad reviews I’ve read on other book blogs, but now I can clarify: I belong to the first group – the fans! :)

The first half of the book was really good, but as soon as the love story began I wasn't into it anymore. I really loved the idea and the fact that this environment seems so near and more realistic than in other books, but I got bored really soon. The action packed scenes to the end where couldn't keep me glued to the pages!

The new development at the end of the story sounds quite interesting so I will continue with the series and I hope that the relationship will be not so boring and unrealistic ...more
