What Members Thought
Mehr als 3 Sterne kann ich dem finalen Teil der Luna Chroniken Reihe leider nicht geben. Es gab einige wirklich tolle Moment, aber auch einige Sachen die mich gestört haben.
Negatives:
- Ich hab ewig daran gelesen, das Buch war definitiv kein Page-Turner für mich.
- Der Beginn war etwas zäh. Ich hab ein wenig gebraucht um reinzukommen, wie auch bei den vorherigen Teilen.
- Insgesamt war das Buch einfach zu lange und hätte meiner Meinung nach stark gekürzt werden müssen um mehr Spannung zu erzeugen. ...more
Ende. Ich habe es lange vor mir hergeschoben, die Reihe zu beenden. Der Abschied fiel nicht leicht, doch Marissa Meyer hat mit ihrem letzten Band der Lunarchroniken ein fabelhaft gutes Finale geschrieben. Diese Reihe gehört ab sofort zu meinen Lieblingsbüchern, die ich euch wirklich von Herzen empfehlen kann. #Buchausweh galore.

the one point I did not like: there was soo much Kai & cinder and they are my least favourite couple :D but well... sometimes they were quite cute :P
But at the beginning it dragged a bit, so I won´t give it full 5 Stars but 4.5 stars .. but a great finale to a great series <33

I'm really not sure how to rate this one- I think I'd just burnt out on the series and Cinder had me expecting something different from the last books in the series. Fantastic world building, beautiful writing, I think I will come back to the series at some point. Marissa Meyer is a gift to the YA genre.

I'm kinda disappointed. It took me forever to finish that book. The first 2/3 were just too slow, and what happened to the characters? I felt betrayed, because all of them felt lifeless.
Then Winter, I just couldn't relate to her and Jacin was actually my least favorite character.
The last part of the book is packed with action, fast paced and it ends with a great written finale. But that couldn't save the book for me. ...more

Eine absolut tolle Reihe. Schade das es vorbei ist....
Ich fand, das war ein würdiger Abschluss der Reihe. Die "Neue", Winter, bringt einen schönen neuen Blickwinkel in die Geschichte und es ist toll, mehr über Luna und seine Bewohner zu erfahren. Auch bei Levara gelingt es, einen Blick hinter die Fassade zu werfen. Im Mittelteil emfpand ich die Geschichte vielleicht als etwas zu langatmig, obwohl es andererseits auch gut ist, dass alles nicht so einfach funktioniert, wie es sich die Rebellen vorstellen. Ein wirklich gelungenes Ende, einer mehr als sehr guten Geschichte.
Die Charaktere sind mir alle ans Herz gewachsen und es schmerzt, wenn ich daran denke, dass ich nichts mehr über sie lesen werde. Was mir wirklich gut gefallen hat war, dass trotz der hohen Anzahl an Hauptprotagonisten, die Autorin es geschafft hat, dass sie jedem gerecht wird und keiner zu kurz kam (Was bei acht Protagonisten durchaus der Fall sein kann).
Zum Inhalt von Band vier möchte ich gar nicht viel sagen, außer vielleicht, ...more

I really love love the series. I reread tge first three books (except Fairest) nefore starting the last installment Winter. Wow there was a lot to take in in Winter... great final and I'm a little bit sad that it's finished now.
