SO scary!!!
I'm not sure whether I should give it 4 or 5 stars, but I had fun reading it, so I'm gonna go ahead and give it 5 stars.

This is one of the scariest books I have ever read. And I love scary stuff, so that's great.
Creepy, scary, awesome.
What annoyed me a bit, was the way people, especially siblings, behaved towards each other in this story. Jed treats Mary like shit for most of the book, and Harry and Travis are so...I don't know. They don't really act like brother, in my opinion. M ...more

English Review:
The first book in ‚The Forest of Hands and Teeth’ series kidnaps the readers in a surreal dystopia, in a world which could come straight from a horror movie. The story is told in the present by Mary, who lives in a village in the middle of a wood which is surrounded by a fence and the Forest of Hands and Teeth. The fence is there to protect the people in the village from the inhabitants of the wood who are deadly.

Ansonsten genial - sehr stimmungsvoll!
