What Members Thought
I loved this book! I give it 5 stars. I find that this book keeps you glued to its pages with not only the storyline but also the characters. The scenery and the arenas are also well thought out and described. I saw the movie before reading this book so I knew for the most part what happened. The movie really stuck with the book and for that I am glad. This is a story I will read again and again. I don’t know why I waited to read this book.

This book was recommended to me by a friend, all I can say is I am so incredibly happy she did! This book was A-M-A-ZING! It may have had a little bit of a slow start, but that's really only in comparison to the rest of the book. I really fell in love with the main characters in this story, I became very emotionally attached! When reading this book, due to Suzanne's amazing writing, it is impossible not to be feeling all the emotions the characters are feeling as well, it really pulls you right

Spoliers**This story captivated me from the start. The struggle of the people then the turn of a love story within a fight for life. I can't wait to read the 2nd book to see what Katniss desided to do go for Gale or stay with Peeta. I'm not sure if Prim name will be pulled out of the pot again but it will be interresting to see what happens.

Excellent book. The idea was so exceptionally brilliant and original, I was blown away by the concept. Too much violence...but you can skip over the more gruesome parts. A great read, and I would recommend it to all readers (but not young children).
I enjoyed this book and read it in a weekend. The writing is smooth and quick paced for the most part. I am intrigued by the characters and how their personalities change in such extreme situations.

I read this when it first came out, but I decided to do a re-read before the movie because I could not recall some of the finer details.
