Bea was great. It was a satisfying end to the Hathaways. I really enjoyed them. I liked the Wallflowers a tad bit better. I am sad these are done though. Anyone like her other series' as much as these two? ...more

Following 'Married by Morning' (#4) which was light and funny and fresh with Leo and Catherine Marks. Love in the Afternoon was a total turn around..
It was sad, sweet, I cried before I even got 100 pages in.. I read half of it in one afternoon. I honestly thought it would be the slowest of all the books in this series given that its based around love letters sent to Captain Phelan, by Beatrix in disguise, in the war. But I couldn't put it down.

love by the letters...without seeing...without knowing directly... you just love the person that the letter reveals... i always found this romantic
