It took me a while to really "get it" with this book, but once I caught on, I flew through it. The confusion was part of the intrigue, though, because the reader was finding out things right along with Lena and Ethan. There is no doubt the second book will be so much better (even though this was actually a pretty good "first" book).

An interesting book. Loved the characters. Looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book. Thanks for recommending this one, Terra!
I enjoyed a lot of the southern culture mixed in with the paranormal stuff in the book. I felt it was a little long. I'm not normally a huge fan of paranormals, but the southern twist and likeable characters made this one fun.

A little slow starting out but good and keeps you wanting to know what happens.
