A good word to describe this book in my opinion? Perfection.

The cover’s cold. The red dot stares from its center. And the title, Shiver, feels hauntingly frozen. Even without knowing what this book was about I knew I wanted to read it.
Author Maggie Stiefvater's writing is haunting as well. Two voices tell the tale. One, a teen girl, fond of wolves, remembers how she was bitten as a child. Oddly, it didn’t make her scared and her not being scared rings perfectly true. She’s sensible, logical, warm and kind—summer's daughter as winter draws near.

Can't even say I finished the book. I got about halfway and got sick of how much this book felt like Twilight. Disappointing since the author's series about Faerie were fantastic.

I adore Sam and Grace. And I'm also very pleasantly surprised (and let's face it, more than a little relieved as well) but how much I enjoyed it. Must read Linger now!
