Stayed up until 3am this morning to finish this one. Cassandra Clare is a master at weaving subplots and mystery into her story. It does drive me a bit batty that crucial character sentences are left unfinished or interrupted. As a writer, I understand the technique to leave plot points and character emotions hidden; but as a reader, I claw the walls wanting a curious character to dig deeper. Still, I turn the page... and I'll grab the 3rd book (and the 4th and the 5th).

this is an awesome book, cant wait to read the nxt one. I hope cassandra clare doesnt stop riting with the mortal intrument series~
