Since TMI the Movie is coming next year I thought I'd better hurry up and since the series. I read City of Bones two years ago and for the life of me I can't remember what the hell happened. I used Wikipedia to refresh my memory. Looking over my review of the first book, I remembered thinking it was just okay. Enjoyable, yes, but I wasn't sprung like so many TMI fans. May 2022 reread thoughts:
It so nice to reread. It brings back lots of memories. It’s interesting to remember the details. Though I did things that happened here didn’t happen until book three. The first time I remember Jace being more forceful with being with Clary even though he thought they were siblings, but upon the reread I didn’t feel that way all. Perhaps it’s because I know what the outcome is going to be at the end. I forgot just how heartbroken he was that he couldn’t be with Clary. It ...more
