I LOVED IT. This book is amazing and not at all your average young adult book. It's smart, shocking, creepy and has wonderful and well developed characters. A real page turner.

I loved everything about it: the mythology, the setting, the characters... It was exciting and unexpected and it totally blew my mind. Best angels and post-apocalyptic book I've ever read. I'm looking forward to reading book 2 (I need to know asap what happens with Penryn, Raffe, Paige...) ;D

And I really hope that Angelfa ...more

3.5 stars. In full disclosure, I should tell you that I'm not a fan of fallen angel stories. I think most of it stems from, fallen angels being heroes offends my religious beliefs. Also, why would a divine being get involved with us lowly humans romantically? Knowing this, some GR friends suggested that I read this series, so after dragging my feet, here I am.

I definitely liked this better than Fallen and Hush, Hush and I think it was faster than Daughter of Smoke & Bone, but the world building ...more

I've always heard good things about this series, and it's been on my TBR list for years. I really enjoyed it! I love novels that have angels, but have found very few where I think the angels are done correctly. Looking forward to jumping into book 2. ...more
