What Members Thought
Feb 2015 read with Margo and it was an instant classic. She loved it, and we watched youtube clips of the movie often, and I think that helped to visualize some of the imagined details. She was totally drawn into the story, even though this book is by far the longest we've read aloud to her (with the fewest pictures!) I read this book awhile ago, not long after it first came out. I recently read it again as part of the "Hey Man Let's Read!" challenge. Now that I have read the rest of the series, I loved this book even more. I had forgotten that Harry, Ron, and Hermione were not best friends right at the beginning of the series. It was also interesting how much fore-shadowing there was in this book. I have a feeling this will be one of my favorite series forever.
