The Kiss Thief is my first book that I have read by this author and what a book!!! Now I won’t say its as amazing as I was expecting, and I think that is partly because this is my first book by Shen and I haven’t read a book this angsty in a very long time and it took a while to adapt to the angst levels, you definitely need to be in the right mood for this type of story. I truly enjoyed the epic feel to this story though.

The Kiss Thief is the newest release by L.J. Shen and before I get started I do have a confession to make. When Leigh announced on FB she was working on a new project and posted her first teaser I was really disappointed. How could one of my favorite authors betray me and write a love triangle. I hate those and avoid them at all costs. This was my second LJ and whilst I liked Sparrow but didn’t love it (3 stars read). However, I absolutely loved The Kiss Thief.

It was a dark romance for sure with Dual POV – Even if Francesca POV are more present than Wolfe’s – I believe that his were somehow powerful.

The writing was really good and the author managed to convey all the emotions in a fantastic way. Some part of the story might have been a bit predictable but a couple of things took me by surprised.

WOW!! OMG!! This is sooo good.

I started one night and read right through until morning. This story had me so good; I am quite sure I went through each emotion of the main characters when it was happening - pissed, happy, crazy etc. I just had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next. The dynamic between, Francesca and Wolfe was so on point! What started out as a plan to seemingly destory and discard, turns 360 degrees in another direction.
