Shelves: new-2019, unlimited, paranormal

I was skeptical I could like Amelie/Hadley as a heroine. She was a bad person in the previous series but towards the end she was coming to terms with her choices & considering how to redeem herself. In this story we learn more about her. While those things don't excuse her they do explain her & she is paying a terrible personal price. Not saying she doesn't deserve it but I can see the atonement in her choices.
