Graydon’s book was what I had hoped for. The sacrifice and enduring love theme worked for me. It was action packed, dramatic, sad, happy and most of all, it had the HEA Graydon had been denied for 200 years. Gryphon took over as Frist Sentinel as well as my favorite when Rune left to mate with Carling.
The narrator Sophie Eastlake just delivered the story with a flair that was completely riveting. I love her voice and how she tells this series. I read the first ...more

This was so sweet.
So 200 years ago Graydon and Bel are forced into an agreement. It keeps them apart after just meeting and discovering an immense attraction for one another. Still even without the agreement, there are so many obstacles in their lives that are in their way.

I loved the romance between Beluviel and Graydon. It really stood the test of time.

So glad to see a certain Jinn get his comeuppance. He deserved it. Added bonus, we got to see all the other couples who came before that we've come to know and love.

Now I'm wondering if there will be more because, Liam. But not only that there are so many characters that I would love to see get a happily ever after. ...more

this was good on a " I am committed to this series and the writing was good so I'm reading it ". Beluvial was sort of " eh" for me. I feel like I was hoping Gray got a bit more than unnecessary angst. she just sort of felt ok. I mean better than Melisande. that character was terrible. the pairing wasn't as big a let down as Julian's. I mean I did give this 4 stars. I'd say this is a 3.5/3.75 rounded up. but man, I'm not super into martyred love. it's just not my trope. and if I'm being honest, G ...more

Graydon’s and Beluviel’s story has been brewing for quite a while and it is nice to have some closure and understanding on their story. While I’m a little fuzzy on how the two gained such a quick connection, the pair still works. They bond over impossible odds and fight for their future over a 200-year time span. While Gray and Bel found their happily ever after, there were some unexpected losses. Overall this is a great installment in the Elder Races series and I’m looking forward to any new bo ...more
