September 2019 Non PNR Gotta Have Romance with a Kick (Kick) BOTM

4 stars.

This book was incredibly frustrating. I didn’t want to toss my iPad across the room but I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what was going on and why Wolfe was such a jerk. I was so frustrated. But this frustration led to curiosity. Why was he treating her this way? How did he really feel about her? About the situation? His words didn’t match his actions.

WOW!! OMG!! This is sooo good.

I started one night and read right through until morning. This story had me so good; I am quite sure I went through each emotion of the main characters when it was happening - pissed, happy, crazy etc. I just had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen next. The dynamic between, Francesca and Wolfe was so on point! What started out as a plan to seemingly destory and discard, turns 360 degrees in another direction.

Bad is so good

Wolfe is a man you will love to hate. This arranged marriage plot is well done. The story gives us an innocent, spirited heroine, the Mob, and a vengeful hero with a heart of stone. But love has a way of changing things.
