Re read in 2021 after first read in 2017 and I brought my rating down a bit from 5 to 4 stars.
Thats not to say I didn't enjoy the book - it really was lovely. Typical Ellen O'Connell book in the way that it has such complex characters, great engaging storyline and lovely memorable scenes.
I just felt some of the character building on the hero could have been stronger. There wasn't enough insight into hero's thoughts, why he thought what he did and the depth of his feelings for the heroine. ...more
