Wow is all I have to say. This book did not disappoint.
The story of Eva and Gideon continues in a varied paced roller coaster ride - at times it seemed slow and some what draggy, and then it would pick up and run at top speed. I was glad to see that Eva developed a backbone in this story, even though she was deeply & emotionally tied to Gideon. The relationship with Eva's Mother seems healthier in this story, and she actually becomes likeable. We get to meet Eva's Father, though the time spent ...more

Eva Tramell and Gideon Cross are still working thru the ups and downs that are apart of their relationship. They both need to learn to trust one another and need to wait for each other to explain things that don't make sense in their relationship. Both are fighting tooth and nail just to stay ahead of the craziness that is their relationship. I was on the fence with rating this book. The lack of communication drove me nuts. I wanted to rate it a 3.5, but dropped it to 3 Stars. Will move on to book #3, but may not continue this series if the angst doesn't calm down. If he's not pissed off or jumping to conclusions then she is. It wears me out as a reader.... ...more
