This was a nice read!
The beginning drug on a lot. I think we could have gone without so much of the book being under that mountain. It did make up for it towards the end. Characters are finally developing, especially some really stubborn ones.
Lore is by far my favorite. He’s crazy but in all the good ways. He and Jaro are by far top 2. Others are definitely making their way but still have some things to figure out.

Great continuation. Like book 1, this felt longer than I really is, but in a good way. The plot twists and flows, teasing moments while creating foundations that will definitely be important later on.
I love Caed, even though he truly does not deserve it. He’s the perfect picture of brainwashed trauma, and the way it’s depicted is poignant and brutal. Add in the hope and it’s downright painful.
