Another buddy read with the RHR team ✨✨✨

The Guild Codex universe is a beast to read. There are four separate (but interconnected) series, 23 books, and a reading order that’s much more complicated than just tackling one series at a time.

BR with the #cakeeaters. So many of the RHR group love the Guild Codes Universe, and we decided to read all of the published books in this universe.

This was such a good spinn off. Future me needs to write a better review for sure.
I love Kit, who is for sure an Anti Hero. The Romance is slow burn, but the plot is fast. I loved the story.

I love Kit!

This entire universe has expanded and flourished, offering us up tale after tale with captivating characters and intense situations. This is no different. Instead of the walls of a guild, we are looking at the inner workings of the MPB, through the eyes of a small time criminal. It’s funny, fast paced and entertaining.

A few old faces make cameos and while you don’t have to read the other two series from this world, there are events mentioned that pulls it all together.

I loved this book! It explored a while new side of the magical system in this world and made it fun while it did.

Still really awesome, especially considering that I don't usually enjoy books from a male perspective but Kitt is very endearing.

I snorted so hard at the mention of the Wilhelm scream XD.
