The storyline is interesting, the writing is good but the book is boring. I don't know if that makes any sense. All I know is that I feel like I deserve a medal for finishing this book. It was interesting but lacked that thing that made me want to get to the next page. I think the only reason I finished it is because I kept on hoping that something worthwhile will happen. It didn't.

The jury is still out about my feelings for the book... I will need to continue to read this series to pin point a better review... So right everything is up in the air... Onto book 2 I go!

I really loved this book, even though I'm usually not a fan of sci-fi. The fact these authors made the main characters (aliens) similar to humans helps.
Khloe with a K has had her fair share of bad luck. When she meets 4 men who reveal the truth about her heritage, her life takes a complete turn.
Gradually we learn more and more, but some mysteries remain.

I adored this book, it was exactly what I was looking for. I wanted an RH where a powerful female takes her men and they all accept her right away, working together against evil. I wanted something like the Vampire Queen series. While Khloe wasn’t powerful yet, she is heading in that direction. I’m excited to see where the series takes us.
