This was a really fun start to a RH series. I loved the blend of home renovating and paranormal elements. The heroine want to escape the fame and noteriety that accompanies her families’ name. Renovating old and magical homes makes her happier than the life she ran away from, an arranged marriage and more family obligations. I really, really enjoyed this!

The concept of a witch, who was raised among the witch elite, who turned her back in all of that to buy, renovate, and the sell magical houses to the magical community is a delightfully novel concept in a genre that has come incredibly saturated with the same old thing.

series review:
Property Brothers + Supernatural + RH.
Yeah, this series is such a fun little gem. I loved the house talk and began talking about their decisions like I talk to my HGTV shows "No, what are you doing!?" "ewww that color?" "Oooohhh that is the bathroom I'd want."
An interesting romance to it as well. I thought it could be fleshed out a bit more, but it did work. I'm happy with all that happened, although now I really want to go back and read the original series that featured her bro ...more

Demons in the Bedroom had a fresher plot than the ones currently ruling the RH genre. There was just something missing to really keep me glued to the book.

The set of characters were a nice mix of paranormals to see some different things playing out. I was looking forward towards the twin wolves and their interactions with FMC but I just couldn't get much from the twins. The ghost was by far the most interesting since he is part of the mystery.

I’m not really feeling the characters at 67% and when it comes to the romance it just feels dry. There’s no chemistry just a hole lot of inner monologue of how great the main character is and how she’s different.

I'm rating the whole series with this one. I kinda liked the concept but don't buy these if you want smexy time books. They're quite bland in that respect. The author also seemed to not understand proper prep for backdoor play like no mentions whatsoever. Idk it was good but boring at the same time... i bought the series but I can say with 100% certainty I won't be reading it abain. ...more
