Cliff hanger ending for sure.

Wow. The ending. I had inklings that this would be the case. Don’t read this if you don’t want to know the epic secret (view spoiler)!!!!!

Like wow. That’s gunna be not so great.

This one felt really filler though because it was glossed over a lot of parts. There was one part where they mention that there might have been an incident that left one of her lovers out of the bedroom, but we never actually hear what happens.

Cliffhanger ending with an intriguing twist. Great set up for book 3.
3.5 stars. Why not 5 stars? Bc parts of it felt slow but they all served to move the plot forward. & sometimes I wish the h would be more than just a gun in royal hands. Her lack of interest in politics & decision making is a bit of a let down.
All that said, this series continues to be an excellent fantasy Rh.

Epic

I had so much to type out as I was reading the book, but now that I have gotten to the end, i'm just left wordless. That's just how beautifully crafted this story is. This world is. These people are. I had so many expectations and I had ideas on where the story would go from the end of the last book...and this book just blew them up and what I got was something so much better and so much more real. I'm obsessed with this book series!!!
Such a good world-building and plot-building!!!

I am intrigued to find out if Luykas and Zayd will join Mave as her husbands!!

It's easy to be obsessed with this series.
Even after rereading this, I'm still in shock. The whole invasion and the bomb dropping with luykas heritage??? WOW!

Just gets better and better

I would give 6 stars if I could! This book had me more on the edge of my seat than the first two , in fact all three have had me creeping further and further to the edge!
