Probably King's best book in the last decade - and I consider his recent output pretty good. 11/22/63 is a High Water Mark... if you haven't read any King for awhile, pick this up, then work your way backwards.

I should start by saying that I’ve read a handful of Stephen King’s stories, but nowhere near the entire collection. My previous experience was that I enjoyed his short stories and novellas more than the full blown novels. This made me somewhat hesitant to dive into an 850 page King novel, but in the end I was happy I did.

Possibly my new favorite King book. Quite unlike most of King's previous works, this story is historical fiction blended with a bit of thrill and sci-fi. The book is quite a page-turner and one you will have a hard time putting down as it builds steam heading to the finish.

I really liked this book. The "time-travel" was very well done, and the characters were ones you ended up caring about what happens to them.

This was the first Stephen King book that I have ever read. I do enjoy his writing style, however, I'm going to avoid the scarier stuff like Pet Cemetery. 11/22/63 is about time travel, and changing the past by trying to have JFK survive the assassination attempt. What I like most about this book is the fact that it makes you think about it later - what would our world be like if JFK had survived (all scenarios) and even what would happen if we could have had one "watershed" moment in our person

I really liked this book. I've actually never read Stephen King before, as I'm not into horror, but history and time travel are right up my alley. The twists and turns were interesting, and I really enjoyed the characters.
