What Members Thought
A great post-modern tale of life after the "rusties" (that's us) meet their demise and a newer, greener, "better" regime takes over. There is no strife because everyone over 16 is made pretty. I became deeply engrossed following Tally who can't wait to be pretty and won't let anything stop her. Westerfeld creates an interesting view on the cost of beauty and what people will do to gain it. It's also a great commentary on how beauty is defined and what it really means to possess it.

Really enjoyed this story. Interesting how the future and past looked back when this was written compared to things know to then. This is a well told and thought out story. I have the next 3 to read.
