This was a cute romance book. It has an air of difference with a garden that is a little different. The sister who comes home with her child is interesting. The author did a very good job with character development. It was a good read.
Wonderful. Reminded me a lot of the movie Practical Magic.

I read this book the first time in 2007 after it first came out and loved it. Just finished my re read last week before starting First Frost and I still love it. I love it so much that when my puppy chewed up my first addition hardback, I immediately went out to find another new first addition hardback and paid a little bit more than I did the first time. I just really love this book.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It was a light read and a great escape. We all need a little magic in our lives and this book has that. Great characters that the reader (or at least me) would love to be friends with - especially Evanelle. Characters were well developed and the book was well written.
This book was a quick easy read. I enjoyed the romanctic story lines and the small element of magic in the plot. Basically, the book was about relationships... reuniting with family, old friends or old loves or the dissolving relationships all tied to an old magical family.
