Good book, but ultimately most of the characters don't really stick in the memory and are pretty interchangeable. It's a passable read, but it ain't no Vampire STAND, for sure.

Almost as good as the first with the same flaws. Not as much about the twelve as the title would suggest. Many characters from the first novel get brushed aside too quickly. Some elements are too coincidental too be believable, but in the end the book works. Ending was a bit of a let down.
Loved The Passage. The Twelve was a huge disappointment. Poorly written, hard to follow, some weird acid trip like sections...still care about the characters though so I'll read the final installment. Just hope it's better. ...more
