I listened to this as an audio book while doing other things so my total concentration was not on the book. The selected reader did an excellent job. I do wish that Grecian had a bit more knowledge on Victorian and English social customs. I can see where this was leading up to a series because there were almost too many characters to keep track. The story was enjoyable.
I really enjoyed this book. It did become a little daunting to read about halfway through it just because there is so much wonderful detail about London, the characters, and the overwhelming police work. A nice debut for a local author!
