Overall, this was an enjoyable book. It helps if the reader is familiar with the works of Vladimir Nabokov, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Henry James, and Jane Austen. The concept was interesting, but felt disorganized. While it wanted to be about the class with a select group of students it seemed to be about about Professor Nafisi's teaching at a couple of universities in Tehran.
