This was a book club selection, and I probably wouldn't finish it had I not been for club. Morrison is very poetic in her writing, which isn't a win for me personally since I'm not very big into poetry. I can see why people love her work. The story jumps between several different points of view which made it very disjointed for me. I had to figure out whose voice I was reading, and even with the many different POVs it still lacked a few I would have loved to hear. I appreciated that fact that in ...more
