What Members Thought
This book heralds a lot of potential for its forthcoming series, and like with any reasonably good series, I'm impatient for the next installment.
I will say that Johansen does this thing where she sprinkles what I feel has potential to be a great realm of fantasy land, with bits of allusion to a dystopia, that actually meet take full root during this book, and so these bits remain just uncohesive little things, which, to be honest, I find really rather annoying.
