This was a fast paced read and I was constantly trying to put all the pieces of the puzzle together. Overall they did fit, but I wasn't quite satisfied with the conclusion. This was completely different from what I normally read which is why I'm a member of several different book clubs (and this was a selection). I really don't want to give away any spoilers, and fear saying much will give something away.

Alisha Glenn is the town's golden girl. Top of her class, student athlete, and all around perfect child. Then she is convicted of a horrible crime and sent to prison for five years. This story starts with her release.
Brynn Glenn is Alisha's younger sister. She is not as popular, not as smart, and not as good at anything as Alisha is.
Claire is the owner of a local bookstore and the mother of an adopted little boy. He was abandoned under the Safe Haven act at a local firestation.
