I think this is the new "in" book because it seems every where I turn someone is talking about it. I liked the style of two narrators and the story is definitely intriguing. Bonus: the author grew up in the KC area. Put this book on your must read list.

I really don't know how to rate this book. On one hand, I thought the originality and writing of the story were good. But, overall, the characters were so despicable - and I'm not just talking about Nick and Amy, the two main characters, although they were pretty bad. And although the ending was not what I expected, it certainly wasn't a satisfying twist. I read the first couple of chapters and thought "what's the big deal about this book? It's SOOOO painfully slow and boring!" My brother urged me to keep reading it, so I did and WOW!
