What an extraordinary story of survival, perseverance, redemption and forgiveness. Hard to stomach during some parts because of the horrible things that happen. Truly worth it!

Wow! This is an amazing story of an Olympian and World War II veteran. I could not help but fall in love with Louie Zamperini - he has a spirit about him that people flock to like moths to light. This book shows why the WWII vets are known as the Greatest Generation.

An incredible story of courage, despair, redemption and forgiveness. I reccomend this book to anyone who has an interest in not only World War II but in stories of human triumph.
