The greatest books I’ve ever read on the subject of drugs, evolution and culture. I’ve thought a a lot about some of the ideas McKenna shares in this book, but this book brought it all together.
McKenna was way ahead of his time as he anticipated modern developments and provides the only real solution to our modern problems. This book opened my mind to the "stoned ape" theory. In my mind this is the most plausible reason for the speed at which our evolution as a species took place.

I hope to, someday make an impact and change the education system and standard offered here in Canada.
The generations to come would be better equipped to take care of the worldwide human community, creating a healthy environment to live in, both mentally and physically. And it all starts with reading a book like this.
