This is fan fiction folks--albeit professionally published--based on the Wizard of Oz series by Baum and in the best fan fiction tradition letting us see the story anew by championing a maligned character--the Wicked Witch of the West. This book was NOT what I expected. I would rate it R for sexual content. The Musical is much better, even though most of the show does not come from the book...which I think was a good thing.
