I found it so interesting, as I read the four books of The Once and Future King (upon which the musical Camelot is based) to see the liberties that were made in the re-telling of the original story! Lancelot is a totally different character! I loved Arthur and the noble ideals he held of true chivalry. Merlin's lessons as Wart is changed into the various animals are insightful.

Probably one of my very favorite recreations of the Arthur legend and one that has influenced popular culture -- Disney's Sword in the Stone and the musical Camelot, to name a couple.
