This book was very hard to read...yet, I couldn't put it down! It was hard to read because this author is no friend of heroes! I almost didn't finish the book once one of them fell, but alas...I did finish and can't wait to start the next one! It takes some suspension of disbelief, but if you are capable of that you will love/hate the book!

I admit the HBO series influenced me to read it but I found I really enjoyed it.
I liked the format of the chapters dedicated to key players, and I found myself caring for them. It's a large read but a comfortable one. It's epic but it becomes personal with these characters you want to follow.
