I did have style issues, and it's not as if the prose is anything to savor, but compared to so many wretched torturous styles I've suffered on the romance recommendation list I've been working through this was readable--with a narrative that flowed well and characters I cared enough about to want to keep going to the very end. By about a third of the way through, I was positive I should have met these characters before.
Halfway through, I was certain of it. Going to my best pal, Jennifer's, over the weekend, I found out that this novel is fifth in this series.

Nothing fancy, but the storyline was good, the characters were likeable, and I enjoyed reading it.

Family greed, wills, money, death, secrets, bombs, and hospitals add up to a romantic suspense with the Buchanans. Kate and Dylan have danced around each other for years when Kate would travel to the family home of her best friend Jordan. It was a good plot and I stayed up until 2am to finish it, but it hasn't been my favorite of the series... but I enjoyed the fluff between my serious reads. I will be getting book six soon.
