Meh. I must be the only person in the Universe who doesn't watch Bones, and who didn't know this book was the start of the series that spawned it. The tale had its moments, but at times the spelling errors and the overuse of metaphors were too distracting.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book from start to finish, and I'm glad I've got the series at home. I think I'm beyond hooked. This one kept me guessing, and, while unnecessarily lengthy, held my interest. I was disappointed to learn that the television show Bones is not based on this series at all, the two leads sharing only their name and profession. I hadn't been watching it because I wanted to read the books on which it is based, first. I suppose I need not refrain ...more
