This had the potential to be a wonderful book. A third of the way through it I was actually excited about this being the first book in a series, and anticipated many hours of pleasurable reading ahead of me.
However, all of the fantastical events are dealt with much too matter of factly. Still, I'll probably read some more books in the series. It wasn't a "bad" read, just not nearly as good as I initially thought it was going to be. ...more
