The first person narration drew me in, and at first I found myself charmed. I could identify with Lori Shepherd; she had recently suffered the loss of her mother and she's been on a "downward spiral" since her divorce, going from temp job to temp job and dealing with disappointed dreams.

A very quick read, and one of those heart-warming tales where everything turns out all right in the end (oops, spoiler).Apparently part of a series.
I once knew Nancy Atherton, she was part of the science fiction fan community down here for years, so I was so tickled with her book.
If you like cozy mysteries these are about as good as it gets.

What a cute book! I really enjoyed it. It's the closest I (usually) get to "chick lit". The narrator on the audiobook was excellent, too.

Engaging writer. I love that the main character is dead. The book has just a hint of non-reality and a healthy dose of romance. The story line is just a little too good to be true but thoroughly enjoyable.
With so many things going for it, this story has something for every reader.
